Applying for a Nursery Place

The online system will open on 20th February 2012, for children born between 1st September 2008 and 31st August 2009.

You have until 1st April to apply and allocation day is 30th April – you must either accept or reject your place by 6th May 2012.

If there is any additional information that you feel the governors need to see, e.g. special educational or social needs, please fill in a SIF form (see the admissions tab).

PGL September 2012

We are aware of the clash of dates for Dame Alice Owen’s entrance exams and the PGL trip. We are talking to PGL to try and move our dates and will let you know as soon as possible of any changes.

Industrial Action – Wednesday 30th November 2011

You should have received a letter explaining the impact of the industrial action next week – please look in your children’s bags!

Years 5 & 6 will work as normal but ALL OTHER CLASSES ARE CLOSED. Breakfast Club, Lunch and After School Club will operate for years 5 & 6 only. The office is open as usual.

School will be back to normal on Thursday.

Vacancy

As we are now a teaching school, we have decided to recruit a Business Administration Apprentice, to work in the office. This would ideally suit a school leaver wanting to improve their skills and employment prospects.

We have contacted the local schools, but if you know anyone who would be suitable, please show them the information below:

School Concert

Please note that Years 3 & 5 are performing on Monday, Years 4 & 6 on Tuesday.

If you would like to attend, there is a booking form on the Whole School tab. We need to know how many people are coming – there is no charge, but there will be a retiring collection towards a new piano, and refreshments will be available before the concert and during the interval.
